hi, we are planning on going to southern ireland jun/jul and looking around the kilarney area. however we would be interested in info regarding good sites in the general area for a 4 week stay? quite prepared to go without electricity if need be as we have a good solar set up and budget springs to mind !! sea fishing is on the agenda and some
entertainment on or off site .
thanks

Really strange , was looking at this myself , but the price of the ferry !
£464 in September , only paying £330 to go to roscoff from Plymouth and return via Caen to Portsmouth , I just think if they reduced prices , more folk would go 👍

Keep checking the Stena Line and Irish Ferries websites - discount codes crop up every so often. We booked in January and got a 20% discount valid for a return crossing taken any time in 2017.
Sign up for their emails. Last month they were doing trips for silly money.

I suggest you download the app from Camping Ireland. All sites are listed under counties, and the information is good. We have booked the ferries for June but have not yet booked any sites, hoping to leave the itinerary flexible, using this app as we go along.
We booked the ferries in January, when Irish Ferries had special rates. I think they have some offers at the moment.Consider Northern Ireland too. Last year we had a great week there before travelling back to Dublin Port.
Looks like I should be looking at January for cheap rates then , don't really mean cheap , just not as expensive as the rates currently displayed 👍
Thanks for all replies
