Never been to Shell Island, and I don't do online petitions... but I've signing this one!!
Absolutely preposterous!
They're not even the landowner, but merely a tenant! The Welsh government (The landowner) should put their foot down and demand emergency access be available when needed.
I'm tempted to say that, in the meantime, emergency services should withdraw from attending to any call out at Snowdonia Aerospace LLP... But I guess that would bring me down to their level, so I won't!
Tosser's!

so whats there that they dont want people to see.....
Nothing.
The problem is that at the moment, when the main access to the Island is closed due to the tide they leave the alternative access open for the emergency services, but use of the air field is increasing, so access will have to be controlled and vehicles escorted across. This will mean that there will have to be people and vehicles present at all times. That costs money and no-one is willing to pay for it.
See how it goes.
If it is going to be the UK spaceport then i think you will lose the whole Island eventually.
Shame but it will happen in the end am affraid.
