As usual with these things there will be 2 sides to the story, and we are only hearing one of them.
What I do know is that Llanbedr Airfield is now much busier than it used to be, by all sorts of different aircraft, some of them unmanned.
Only once we get the FULL story will I consider my opinion.

Nothing.
The problem is that at the moment, when the main access to the Island is closed due to the tide they leave the alternative access open for the emergency services, but use of the air field is increasing, so access will have to be controlled and vehicles escorted across. This will mean that there will have to be people and vehicles present at all times. That costs money and no-one is willing to pay for it.
