Yes Stonebridge was a lovely site, we enjoyed our stay there. Cheapest site for electricity too, we paid £2.80 for the whole of our 2 week stay. On a meter of course. Site fees were very reasonable too. However, even their pitches weren't fully enclosed, and certainly not dog-proof. Just hedges between the pitches and open fronts. The dog we had at the time would have got through the tiniest opening anyway if he sensed anything "interesting" outside. Being a small Australian Terrier he was very bright and a proper Houdini. We had him on a tether at all times when he was outside, and if he wanted shade he would go under the caravan.
I don't think I have ever come across a site with fully enclosed pitches, and I'm not even sure I would want one. That is what I liked about Stonebridge. The hedges either side gave a bit of privacy and stopped people waking across our pitch, but you could still sit outside and be sociable with people passing.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin
