Hello,
I'm looking for recommendations for campsites that will store my caravan year round and tow it to the pitch for me, preferably in East Sussex or Suffolk, but would consider Kent, Essex, Lincolnshire or possibly Norfolk. Cheap and cheerful, not too far from a beach and plenty of local stuff to entertain children.
I realise there is a search facility for looking for storage sites but they don't tell me if they can also tow the caravan, and the websites don't say either.
Thanks in advance!

I would think that for insurance purposes the site owners would retrieve your van for you. Our van is in a compound with about 30 other vans and they are quite close together. The site owners would be nervous about letting people pull their van out of a confined space. Best to phone likely sites or camp there for a few days to suss out their arrangements.
I assumed the OP was requiring a similar facility to ours. We pay £6 pwk all year and when we are camping on the site it is on our chosen pitch ready levelled up for us to use. We then pay pitch fees according to the season. The £6 is the fee for bringing out of storage and putting away in the compound afterwards. Think the CCC operate a similar scheme but probably waiting lists for popular sites.
Thanks guys. Yes that's the kind of service I am after, same site storage to pitch, levelling would be a bonus! We will only be able to use the caravan for weekends this year so I'm trying to take as much of the 'getting ready/set up time' out of our breaks as possible.
I have noticed the caravan club offer such a service but my sister's family and my daughter and partner would like to borrow the caravan occasionally and they are not members. It doesn't make sense for them to join when they don't have they're own caravans.
Can you please name some of the sites as I am after the same thing to keep my caravan and have it towed to a pitch when I need to use it, anywhere jo more than 2 hours from Nottingham Thanks Louise
