Hi,
I am a long time camper under canvas, but have recently purchased a caravan so that my mum can continue to come along with us as she is getting too old to sleep in a tent!
We would like to put our caravan on a seasonal pitch somewhere in North Yorkshire - around the Malton/Pickering area but have no idea about how to find one. Is there an easier way than just ringing round loads of campsites and asking?

(plus any other "bet you didn't realise" advice for a complete newbie to caravanning??)
