I am looking for a campsite around the oxfordshire area that has open pitching.

I am planning a get together with some family members, so we all want to be together NOT in individual pitches so we can have a bbq etc
There will be a couple of caravans a motorhome and possibly a tent.
We need electric hookup for the caravans, toilet (possibly a shower)
There will be children and a dog

Can anyone help Oxforshire is central to us all, but am happy in counties near by

Hi Ronnie

I live in Oxfordshire near Faringdon, we popped into two sites close to us recently one called Lincoln Farm Park and Hardwick park both at Stanlake, personally we preferred Lincoln Farm but its not a cheap place to go, my neighbour regularly visits Hardwick and meets up with others. Both have electric, Hardwick only has open pitches, i believe Lincoln has some open piches. Stanlake is a great location 30 mins from both Swindon and Oxford.

thanks will look into all of these - I found Hardwick but not the others.
We are looking at around £25 per night in August. 5 units in total

Perhaps Bridge House at Lechlade - a big open camping field on the bank of the Thames at the Oxon/Glos border, and just a few hundred yards to walk into the village for shops, cafes, pubs etc.
