Hi can anyone recommend Chester services J14 M56 as pull in on the way to Anglesey. Is it caravan friendly? Does it have designated caravan parking or do you park with the hgv's? Thanks in advance, Tony

If you look on Google Earth and enter the postcode CH2 4QZ (Chester Services) you can look directly down from an aerial view at the services car park. However, it looks like there is only designated parking for cars in general and HGV's but perhaps someone else will add further information regarding the above.
Looking at street view does show an area next to the HGV area and a sign for caravans, but it looks as if you drive in and reverse out of bay, but its not very clear from the areal view.
If you just want fuel and a cuppa, go a bit further to just after the welcome to Wales sign and go to Deeside Industrial Estate.
There is a BP station and a Starbucks on a roundabout turn left at that roundabout carry on to next roundabout, go all the way round (no reversing)and come back along the same road which is wide enough to park on to walk to Starbucks without having to go in their car park.
Have a look on Google earth and you'll see what I mean.

All of the previously mentioned stops are good when towing a van to North Wales. To answer the specific question, at Chester services you park with the hgv's but it is very close to the main buildings and not out of view like some hgv parks can be. Spaces are clearly marked and easy to enter and exit with no reversing involved.
As also mentiond, Google maps gives you a good view of the layout of all these service stops.
