hi, When you say camping do you mean with tent or caravan/motorhome?
What do you consider cheap?
Have you joined a club as they have cl/cs that are cheaper then commercial sites.
We stopped at a nice little site in chipping a few years ago lovely place. Don't know if it takes tents but is £20 a night called Brickhouse.
Enjoy your trip

You don't need much, just a sense of humour and a cork screw. Have fun. 😀👍

Hello paulandjoanne>

I recommend you position the tent so the entry door faces the East on Saturday.

Also prepare for early evening rain, expect it to last until midnight.

Wear thermals for bedtime, and maybe take a duvet, it will be chillier than you're used to.

Enjoy it anyway.

Kind regards James

In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.
