Just doing some random site searches, and ended up clicking a Haven site (Wild Duck)...

Filled in all our details, including van length, and the web page ended up saying you're too big for our pitches!!!

Fair enough. But I thought I'd try something (as a test)....

Reduced the size right down to about 6.5m (from our 7.4m), and it still come back as 'you're too big'!!!

What do they want? Two tiny vans (2 for the price of 1), crammed onto one standard sized pitch...???

I think you'll find that lots of holiday camps have an official 6m limit, so internet bookings are restricted. Just give the site a ring and they will let you know if there is a real problem.
I have used them with larger vehicles on many occasions

Yup, give them a call, we were able to put up our Outwell Maryland xl there a few years ago and that with the guylines was 10m x 8m

When I first saw the title of this thread I was thinking this site had turned into a porn site

Actually this is something I get told all the time "sorry you are too big" .... but once they see it erect in front of them they realise its because I keep getting confused between inches and centimetres.


...... the tent you mucky lot .... I meant the bloody tent ..
