Hi - daughter has decided she would like to stay in this country and do some good walks including up Snowdon! Anyone have any good site recommendations please? I did have a look on message forum already but couldn't find any.
Thanks all

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I stayed for three nights at Llyn Gwynant with a group of friends and the site was our base for the walk up Snowdon. It is one of the nearest campsites to the mountain and ideal if you want to start from Pen Y Pass (for the Pyg track or the Miners track).
My friend Gulliver and I both reviewed the site here on UKCS (scroll through to May 2011) and we both gave it 9/10.
Thanks - looking to book Llyn Gwynant but can only guarantee pitch if it is EHU and there are none of these left! May take a chance and go up on the Thursday before as it looks to be just the site we need. Thanks

Another recommendation for Llyn Gwynant, stunning location in particular for Snowdon. Don't worry about a pitch you'll get one, they've only ever had to close the site once as far as I know & that was last year bank holiday weekend.
