Hi all,
Been away on my first camping trip. All went well but had to take my van and car for all the stuff we have.
I have a trailer I use for work a good solid one all metal unbraked.
I measures in total 3.6 X 1.7m inc the mud guards and a frame.
Would I have issues with this on sites.
We go to pentewan sands and they have a lot of comping trailers and very large boat trailers so they would be ok with my trailer.
I don't mind paying extra just don't want to turn up and get turned away.
I've booked at flookburgh for 4 weeks time and was planning on transporting all my gear in it .
Most camping trailers I've seen are about a 1m shorter than mine.
What's other people's experience

The only way you are going to find out for sure is to phone or email, if emailing you could always send a photo just to make things clear for people.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Stayed at holgates this weekend and the tent next to us had a bigger trailer about 300mm wider. An ivor Williams one.
I suppose it depends if there's room on the pitch after pitching the tent.
In my experience if you ask permission it usually gets refused
I could always get a fabricator to cut a foot off the front and back.
The internal measurements are 8'x4' give or take a couple of inches.
Just wondering if other campers with iquivalent sized trailers have had problems.

Had a good luck round there web site. No mention of trailers.
Pulling trailer with car so hopefully that will be ok.
I can always park car on car park if there no room for trailer and car on the pitch
Just been looking at the ext dimensions of the brenderup 1205 which is very popular on this site and amongst campers.
My trailer is 550mm longer and 100mm wider.
So have campers with the 1205 had any problems on site

ditto, kind of obvious isnt it? ask the site in question rather than a load of strangers, "Is my trailer to large for such an such a site?"

I was asking for people's experiences and input. Sorry if it offended you
im not offended, but unfortunately we do no know the size each site allows, a simple email/contact with the site in question will provide you with an answer.
