I find this annoying too. If I really want to go to the site, I will leave a few days then contact. If it was more of a general enq. I tend to go elsewhere. Some sites I emailed at Easter still haven't replied - their loss.
Hiya, I would give it a few days as they may be farm sites and busy running their farms, or they may not check their emails constantly and only do it every couple of days. Or they may have replied and been picked up by your spam / junk filters
If you are keen for a response, maybe a quick phone call would be a good idea for peace of mind.
I never trust them to read their emails regularly so I would always phone them anyway. I was in constant contact with a site owner by text recently. When I sent an email because it was too long to text it was several days before she said she hadn't seen it yet.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I've found the same problem, usually takes 2/3 days to reply, by which time I've booked elsewhere. One site I queried if they have got the e mail the previous day, they said it hadn't come thru, ? why the delay, is there a monitoring system to delay booking?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
If planning a fair way ahead, will use email and follow it up a few days later by phone if I've not had a reply. If short notice, it's a phone call.
In addition to Ratty's comments, sometimes one's Internet connection is out, due to work locally or because a mast is down; this is particularly true in rural areas. I may have fibre to cabinet, but it can still take a couple of days to get emails through.

as a campsite warden we reply within 1hour but depending on the recipients security settings some of our replies go to junk mail so make sure you look there first.
hmmmm..... other half emailed Riverside site in Wallingford then tried to call when no response. They didn't answer the phone (on multiple occasions). We ended up at White Mark farm in Watlington who do respond. (And we had a lovely stay there).
Still not heard from Wallingford (several months later) and having visited there, and read the reviews, not worried that they haven't.
