I'm looking to book a trip for a few days to possibly a week away at the end of May next year and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a nice clean site that is reasonably priced in the area.
It will be a party of 3 including an 8yr old so family friendly with a playground would be helpful but we aren't really fond of the Haven style sites.
TIA

The only site that I know in Brighton is the Brighton Caravan and Motorhome Club site and the Brighton site. Details and reviews in the Site Search facility as per above.
Hi, thanks for the replies. Sorry I should have said I had already looked in the site search but was hoping for others experiences. The caravan and motorhome club looked ok but some of the reviews say it's not ideally sited between a sports centre and football ground and can get quite loud and difficult to access at certain times.
I would look further afield but I'm not from the area so don't know where's good and bad. I would ask OH but it's a bit of a surprise trip as she has family in the area so I can't really get her input.

We've been using this site for years without difficulty and have always found it quiet. It's quite a way from the main road and the sports facilities are quiet at night, even if they can be sometimes be heard a little during the day.
In my experience the only access problems come when arrivals turn up before the stated time and block the road for those leaving but even this has been only on a very few occasions.
If you like woodland camping there is Blackberry Wood, it is a few miles inland from Brighton , on the edge of the S Downs. No EHU etc.
In fact there are quite a few sites in and around the S Downs rather than in Brighton. Have a search of East Sussex on the map facility. Lovely countryside.

There's the Ship and Anchor Marina at Ford, Arundel, which is about 5 minutes walk from the station and a short journey to Brighton. There's a pub on site, you can walk along the river to Arundel and Littlehampton and there's a huge boot fair/market a bit down the road on Sundays.
The Brighton CandMH club site wasn't noisy for us. The access road did have a few caravans parked at the side but access wasn't a problem. We used it for the Newhaven ferry.
