Hi, after hours spent trawling the uk campsite search function and ringing loads of different sites, visiting website after website I’ve become all a bit jumbled,
I’m looking for a site, for my mum to site her tourer caravan for the season, the site we’re looking for has a few requirements, it has to have views! Mum doesn’t want to just look at other caravans so seaside or rolling hills have to be able to be seen from the van, the site has to have a play park as she will be taking me kids away with her some weekends, it also has to allow ( hopefully) me and my husband and our kids to use the van when mum is not and us not occurring a standard pitch fee. ( we don’t mind a slight charge)
It has to allow dogs on the site as mum has a dog.
It has to be located somewhere in ( first choice) Yorkshire, ( second choice) County Durham or Northumberland ( at a push ) but only around half an hours drive north of Newcastle.
Ideally site fees of around £1500 or less
Mums van is older than 10 years ( which aparantly isn’t accepted on some sites)
It’s a lot to ask for I know and I’ve spent so long looking I feel like I’m going mad, the amount of sites I’ve spoken to who have ether no space or we don’t match up is unreal
So I was hoping if anyone knew of any off the chart sites which may be rural but allow seasonal tourers but don’t advertise it
