Hi, My parents are thinking of booking Tregarton Park for 17 nights in June. The reviews look great but I'm worried that its location means there won't be many pubs/shops near to them. Another possibility is River Valley at London Apprentice. Has anyone visited both parks and could let me know which they would recommend! Many thanks x

We had nights at Tregarton last year 2017, had pitch number 61 huge pitch. Even pitched and leveled the van for us, Last year in June it was £13 per night all in icl. electric, that was in June. Not far from Goran Haven and Mevagissy
Went to Tregarton Park last year on an early season offer. Excellent value but shower block was freezing. Good site with large pitches on a slope but pitches were level. Location meant you needed to take your car everywhere. Nearest pub was at Gorran, about 2 miles. Nearest shops were at Mevagissey, a bit of a drive but very nice.
Overall, from what you say, I would suggest that Tregrton Park is a bit remote.

We have been going to Tregarton Park for quite a few years now. Lovely site and the owners very helpful. Yes they do take you to your pitches and Rob will level the van for you. Nice shop on site, plus a heated swimming pool.
You would need a car here as up the top of a hill. Mevagissey is quaint and restaurants and pubs there... great soft ice cream shop, Kelly's yum yum.
Great site but not if you want to walk to a pub.
