We went there last July, had no trouble travelling down. If you are going on the main beach and want to park try and get there between 9 and 9.30. If you have a blue badge it is well worth signing up with the council for £10 so you can park on council for free.

If you have a blue badge in Cornwall you have to get a permit off the council or it isn't valid,,it was £10 last year and lasts for 1 year

were going to upper lynstone in bude, in july, travelling on a Saturday, but stopping overnight at wellington , cadeside, then doing the rest of m5 and a30 on sunday, not had many holdups in previous years.
