They look very smart; I guess they will be popular with people who like some elbow room and privacy for their ablutions, and less emptying of caravan toilets. An interesting innovation!
We saw pitches like this in France a few years ago and looked on their website to see the price. It was nearly twice the price of their standard pitch! It will be interesting to see if this catches on in the UK. The thing that I found interesting about the site in France where we saw them was that whilst the site had a good mix of French, Dutch, British, Irish and German people staying, it was only British people on the very expensive ensuite pitches.
Just remembered it was Narbonne in the Aude Region only 19 euros per night with ACSI and its a long low season with just July\August when ACSI not accepted. Swimming Pool, restaurant etc just in case anyone is interested.
Was it La Nautique in Narbonne dillydom? Its was a lovey site when we stayed a number of years ago, there was another at Vias we stayed on with private facilities and neither cost a fortune .
If the caravan is on hard standing surely it will be a real pig to erect teh awning due to the hard ground and bent awning pegs.
On a number of sites in South Africa this is very common except many have a lounge/kitchen area with a washing machine. The bathroom has a bath and a shower plus the other normal things.
