My partner feels that Camping & Caravan Club sites offer better security than commercial sites. We're tent campers and would be leaving the site for the day.
Specifically, I'm considering the Ridding's Wood site near Alfreton, Derbyshire - can anyone advise their experience here?
More generally, are commercial sites well staffed and patrolled?
