Have you tried Ty Isaf, not far from Bala? They may have pitches; there seemed to be a few gaps on the field when I was there recently. It's a working farm, all very basic in a way - facilities are a bit tired to be honest (free showers though!) but the people are very pleasant. There's a nice big flat seasonal field and camping available on site too. It wouldn't appeal to those who want everything all singing all dancing, manicured flowerbeds, shop on site etc; however when we looked around we went for this because there was some elbow room and pleasant views, it's dog-friendly and Bala's not far away for shops. 'Gorwelion' is close, just on the edge of Bala for meals. Access to river fishing in season as well. Have a look at their website and see what you think.
