We absolutely love Ladram Bay, but are looking for a similar site in Cornwall.
Short walk to beach / coastline
Great on site facilities
Lovely accomodation to hire
Water sports on beach
Basically we have 2 weeks off in July, we are planning on staying in Cornwall for the 1st week and Ladram Bay for the 2nd week.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Donna
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
My friend has been going to a static at Treago Farm at Crantock for many years; beach is easily walkable, path through the dunes, bodyboarding/surfing possible there. Bar on site and a shop. Might be worth a look.http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1472
Cosy Nook tearoom in Crantock Village is cute, too.
I'll bear this in mind, I have just booked Piran Meadow in Newquay, although it's not close to the coast (10 minutes drive) I got quite a good deal for July, plus the drive back over to Ladram for the following week isn't too long.
Was looking at Black Rock Beach in Stock Ives, but some of the reviews aren't the best!!
