I really want to be able to camp on adult only sites. My son is now 15 and it seems that most campsites charge him an adult rate. However, when I look at adult only campsites, it never says at what age they count someone as being an adult. Has anyone else had this problem?
I would love a quiet site without small children being allowed to run around and scream at 5am!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We are also in the same boat, our 15 yr old begrugingly comes with us and if she had her way would spend most of her time sat in the corner of the lounge watching tv or on the phone - I doubt if a site would know she was with us.
Think the only answer is to ring and ask, and if they don't want our custom that's their loss.
We too are sick of noisy tearabouts who insist on playing ball games near our van. I look forward to the day we can go out of school holiday time.

I've got 2 suggestions for you, but a long way from South east London!
Serenity in Hinderwell near Whitby, not adult only but nothing for small children to do, so never seen any there.
Faichmed Farm, Invergarry. We were there this week it's adults only but a family with 2 teenagers were staying in a tent next to us.
