Hi new to the forum and after some help, we have been camping quite a few times and never found any difficulty trying to find the right site for us until now!

it seems every campsite we look at seems to have a super long list of rules and that they have obviously had trouble with anti social behavior in the past.

we are after some help in finding a campsite that fits some points we are looking for and hoping for some help from you guys & gals!!

1. 7 adults in total

2.would love for us to be able to have camp fires

3.close to mount snowdon ideally dont mind driving 30 mins to get to the bottom of it but we plan going up it as a group.

4. available for 25th Aug for 2 nights

5. At night we would love to be able to have a drink! thats not to say we are a loud bunch!! we just like to sit and talk and have a glass of wine. (most the campsites we have found this seems to be a NO!NO!) or bed by 10pm kind of vibe. we would be staying up past midnight but we certainly wouldnt be in bed by 10pm

6.My wifes parents plan on joining us for the hike and they stay in a small mobile campervan. so the site would need to be able to accommodate small campervans aswell!!

the closest match as a campsite we have found is Tyn Cornel camping but its located 50 minutes drive from mount snowdon.

any help would be much appreciated, Many thanks in adnvance.

Tom

Welcome! The Snowdon Inn might suit, there are reviews on here and I think they have a website. It's near Llanberis.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=3010 This campsite might suit.

It does state that no noise after midnight and no drums etc. However, when we stayed people were noisy all night. A set of bongo drums were played. I hated it as like to be quiet by 10pm. We promptly left the next day.
Allow camp fires and is at the base of Snowdon.

Hiya, it would be excellent if you could submit a review of the site when you get a moment please.

Cheers Ratty

we had a motorbike rally here.

the owner was very laid back and easy going.

there was a nice pub just a short walk accross the river bridge.

its further than 30 mins from snowdon though, google maps says 40 mins.
