Hello, I'm looking for recommendations for a family campsite in or near to St Ives for next summer. There will be 2 adults and 4 children in our group. Decent showers and a playground are a must, along with electric hook-up. Preferably not too far from the coastline. TIA!

Polmanter is great. About 30 min walk into St Ives but there is also a bus.

Try St Ives bay. We're off there next week for the 3rd time in as many years. Beach access from the site and stunning sunset views across the bay to St Ives. It's not everyone's cup of tea and by no means the cheapest site in the area but it's quickly become a firm favourite of ours for Cornwall trips.
