Minimum 2 nights stay was one of the reasons I cancelled my membership.
High season. 5 nights minimum in some Lake Districf sites! Madness.
But we stay in for their Certificated Sites which don't have such a crazy 2-day rule. Many other forums on this topic......
That's ridiculous! Still if people want to stay in the Lakes and the sites can get their pitches filled...
However, the two night rule is a problem personally when I want to come down from Mull to see family in West Country, SW London and friends in East Anglia. That's a day and a half from home if I'm lucky with ferries and traffic; if I have to stay two nights each way, it seriously impinges on time with the people you want to spend the time with!
