... that are likely to be able to accommodate a touring caravan in early September. EHU and views of either mountains or beaches would be nice, but otherwise there are really no restrictions for us.

Yes, we have tried the site search, but there are so many places that look lovely that we really can't decide. Can we just hear of your favourite sites and why you love them please?

Only stayed at Cae Du in Beddgelert which was fairly basic but clean and pleasant:



It's open to the end of September.

Rynys outside Betws-y-Coed is good - up a narrow lane, but lovely valley views, space, informal layout, clean facilities and plenty of tourers seem to use it. Visit their website - they have a 360 degree view thingy on it.

My son stayed at this site this year . His photos looked amazing when I asked about us going there with caravan he said the roads were not good for towing . But others may disagree ,

We've stayed at Cefn Cae in Rowan just south of Conwy.
Lovely site, walkable pub.
Good for visiting coast or Betws y coed area
