Hi
We are off to a festival bank holiday weekend in the Cotswolds (Chipping Norton) and staying on site for the weekend. We are travelling from Newcastle and hoping to set off on Thursday and stay overnight quite near to the Festival so we can get in early Friday morning.
I’ve looked at a couple of sites but with it being bank holiday they are booked or have a minimum stay specified.
Any recommendations please for campsites or can we park in a motorway services and get a few hours sleep anywhere enroute, not sure if that’s allowed!?
Thanks

I think there may be a charge at motorway services for any stay longer than 2 to 3 hours. Also, not sure if they allow overnighting, I think you might have to contact them first.
I've just looked at Gloucester Services on the M5. You seem to be able to stay overnight for £23, including a £5 food voucher. Not a particularly cheap option, but worth thinking about. They may have showers there too.

you wouldn't go anywhere near the m5 to get there from Newcastle!
