Not really much around this area really I live 10 miles from ulverston. Bardsea is expensive I think their is a place in Askam in Furness called marsh farm also not sure if it's still open but you could try priory view which is within close proximity to bardsea
Thanks, Priory View is not open in winter either. Looking at Higher (or High?) Halthwaite Farm which is above Broughton, just off the A593. Do you know anything about it?

No sorry. If your looking around Broughton I'm sure you'll find something as it's very popular location. Maybe try Google maps find Broughton then do a search of campsites in that area that will throw up a fee options I'm sure.
I live in the area..bardsea leisure is your best site. High fell gate is also decent. Your best bet might be priory view near ulverston canal. Small but nice
There’s a newish CS or CL just outside Dalton in Furness, a few miles beyond Ulverston - however, not sure whether open at that time of year and not sure about tree cover for satellite reception - so actually not much help to you, sorry!!! If I were you I’d cut my losses and go to the lovely Laverick Hall near Lancaster. Access to the sites near Broughton can be a bit tight at the best of times but if the weather’s dodgy you might be struggling - the area is very rural!

I agree it’s not cheap at Bardsea, but it’s probably your best bet for the time of year. Low Hall Farm at Kirkby in Furness would have been ideal - till they stopped allowing dogs - so that’s no use to you either! We are local and struggle to find somewhere in the area too.
Yes, looked at Low Hall Farm and it would have been ideal. There are 2 CLs, Cherry Tree Farm but that's all grass and access not great I think, and Higher (not Upper) Halthwaite farm who have not replied to my email enquiry about Sky tv, it's a couple of miles from Broughton and may be difficult if it snows.
I suppose you could always phone Low Hall Farm and explain your situation and ask whether they would accept your dog if you keep it on a lead, exercise it off site etc. (if that would work for you - depends on your dog I guess). Given the time of year your dog will probably be inside virtually all the time anyway, I would expect. They used to accept dogs but I think there was a problem with a visitor’s dog on the farm and so they were banned a couple of years or so ago - you can but ask!
