Looking for a recommended camp site in the above location.

We are a couple in our 60's who have to holiday in August, so looking for a well run site, with serviced pitch if possible. Not particularly looking for a site that is all singing/all dancing, we don't mind peace and quiet! I have looked at reviews, but some sites have not had reviews since 2014, so would prefer to go somewhere someone has been to in the last year!

Thank You for any help.

Haven't been there for many years, but there are two or three fairly recent (2017) reviews of Mill House (just inland of Wiseman's Bridge) which appears to be much as I remember it.

We had a week at Mill House last August and can recommend the site. But you will have to contact them as soon as possible as it is a small site and they get a lot of people returning year after year for the same weeks.

We loved our visit to Middle Hill Farm, Manorbier a couple of years back. We left a review on here. It's a C&CC Cs site, so it is small and peaceful. Pitches are large and very informal. The owners are lovely and very laid back. It's a fairly basic site, but the toilets and showers are very well looked after. Spotlessly clean.

We too are in our 60s, but retired and not tied to any dates, so we went in early July. It was easy to get a pitch and they weren't full all the time we were there, but I would imagine they are busier in August though. It is advertised as "adults only", but apparently they do sometimes have children in the one static they have on site.

-------------
Best Regards,
Colin
