Hi people, planning on using the tunnel for France in July. travelling down and staying over close to the port and getting an early(ish) crossing next morning. Can any of you lovely people recommend a site, need hook up and easy access for double axle please.

We always stay here it's about 13 miles from the Tunnel.
Great site, with a large Tesco about five minutes away.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We stayed at the Black Horse, Densole, last year. Very close to tunnel but we found quite expensive. We were only there for 6hrs with traffic delays etc and it was over £40. This year I have booked the Drum Inn, which is as close for half the price.
The camping is behind the pub with electric, a wc and one shower. There are no barriers so you can leave as early as you need to. The pub does decent food and we've always found it very friendly.

We have stayed several times at Black Horse farm. A meal at the Black Horse marks the start of our holiday. I hope that the reference to it being closed is some kind of error as the website is still active.
