We're devastated that Sandy Balls is no longer accepting tourers, so need some suggestions of something similar.
We like a site with a bar and restaurant (either onsite or within a mile), a small shop, and we really liked the walk down to the river and back through the woods at Sandy Balls.
Any suggestions? Ideally within an hour or two of Oxford.

It is a campsite behind a pub. It also has an onsite shop. We went for a weekend a few years ago but did not use either.
No mobile phone signal then (could be different now). Remember having to drive around so that Mr F could check his work e-mails and make/take phone calls.
