Have a look at Clarion campsite just above Otley in west Yorks, lovely area on edge of dales. River down in town with rowing boats and pedaloes, a brilliant park. Chevin forest park for walks. Boating on Yeadon Tarn nearby. Close to Bolton Abbey, Ilkley, Harrogate. Fantastic views from site, good pub that does food about 100 mtrs away.
I would say about 45 Miles from Manchester.
It's just a small site with a few glam ping pods and never very busy so you may be lucky for Easter weekend.
