Hi
We’re looking for recommendations for a nice quiet touring park ( preferably small ) in or around Pickering Yorkshire for June . We just need it to have a shower .

We won’t have kids or dogs with us

Any help would be appreciated

Wombleton Caravan Park - about 15 minutes from Pickering, between Helmsley and Kirkybymoorside. It's a lovely, quiet site and the toilet blocks have just been refurbished.

The White Swan at Newton-upon-Rawcliffe, about 4 miles outside Pickering is a pub in a picture-postcard village that has its own touring site. It has toilets and showers and a limited number of electric hook-up pitches. However if you can live without EHU you can stay in the farther of their two fields, which is prettier and quieter. And you have a pub on site, which is good for when you just need a drink (i.e. if you have just finished putting an awning up) or can't be bothered to cook.

Warren house farm near Allerston Link really nice site. I have camped there a few times and the owner is always welcoming.

Have a look at Robin Hood Caravan Park, Slingsby. Whilst about 25 minutes away from Pickering its still a great location for touring.
