We are thinking about a family holiday in August 2020.
We are - 1 caravan ;1 motorhome; 2 tenting families and one non-camping family.(8 children in all, 5-18yrs). So, we'd need some sort of static or cottage accomodation for the non-campers. Some of us are Caravan/Camping Club members.
We'd like it to be somewhere north of Leeds, Yorkshire for family history reasons.
Despite internet searching, we've yet to come up with anything suitable. Has anyone any ideas please?

Hi Noddy1304.
You can’t beat the site search - I use it for exactly what you’re looking for: a site within x miles of your place in Yorkshire. Tick on Motorhomes plus tents plus Rental plus anything else you want (EHU etc). You should get enough places to choose from.
Flower of May holiday park near Leberston, on the Filey to Scarborough road. Static Caravans for hire, Tent camping pitches, Motorhomes and Caravans on a well kept landscaped park with a basic swimming pool, bar, shop and stunning clifftop views a short walk away.

I’ve just returned from a trip near Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales. While visiting the waterfalls at Aysgarth we drove past a camping and caravan club certified site. It had facilities for tents as well as caravans and looked like it was also a b&b. Lovely area for family walks.
There must be plenty of small sites like that around. You’d have to ask how they feel about a group.

how about wolds way nr Malton? caravans and tents and motorhomes can be pitched right alongside each other, good wash facilities (has several full size baths!) laundry etc etc and not far for either scarborough or York visits
I can highly recommend Woodhouse farm winksley near Ripon and Pately Bridge. Lovely site takes all campers tourers ect, also has Statics and Glamping Pods. Has a Resturant and pub onsite along with an activities barn for kids of all ages.

Whitby Holiday Park is a larger, busier site but has all of the accommodation you're looking for as well as an on-site club and bar, steps down to a lovely beach and a fairly easy walk into Whitby along the cliff path and down the Abbey steps.
