I'm looking for a site in North Wales or Anglesey for the end of July/beginning of August. It needs to have toilets, showers, electric hookup and hardstanding. Also, Adults Only or a family site with an Adults Only area. Ideally I'd like a pub nearby that is a safe walk away (no unlit country roads). What I am worried at the most is noise from the A55 as I can't stand constant noise. I have been looking at Tyddyn Du but some of the reviews are putting me off a bit. Most are really good but, where there are bad ones, they are really bad.
I have searched but I'm not finding the opinions or information I want. Thanks in anticipation of any ideas you may have.

Bryan Edneyfed is lovely adult only site run by a smashing ang friendly couple, the pub is about a mile along a well lit main road with footpaths and if you like planes you get a free air show between 8-00 and 18-00, we have stayed a couple of times in the last three years, it only opened three years ago.
My husband and I do not have any children and like a site with peace and quiet. One of our favourite sites is Home Farm on Anglesey. This is not an adult only site but they have an excellent play area and large football field which is slightly separate from the main area of the site down a big hill. The kids seem to all be down there and this leaves the site itself very peaceful. There are a few pitches which are up above the play area where you would get some noise from the kids down below but you can reserve a specific pitch on this site so if you look at the site plan online, then phone to book, you can then specify that you want a pitch on the other side of the site from the play area. Road noise is not a problem here!
Thanks for your replies guys. I will have a look at these places. I ring Tyddyn Du earlier in the day and the conversation I had with the lady didn't inspire me with great confidence. She wasn't very friendly or helpful so it's good to have some options here. Mega thanks :D

I too am looking for a site in North Wales and my first search was the CAMC sites. Looking through the reviews on one of the sites there were several remarks about grumpy wardens. Anyone any suggestions.

Don't use the CAMC sites! There are plenty of CLs which have owners, not wardens. Hafodty Farm up above Colwyn Bay is lovely, great views and peaceful but no loos or showers.

Llwyn Ffynnon near Pwllheli is in a quiet location and has a pub on site. Not adult only but this is unlikely to be a major issue unless you're travelling during the school summer holidays.
Forgot to mention that Boderwyn Bach CS has all you require apart from hardstanding and has its' own pub, for about half that price, almost in the centre of the island.
£30.00 per night for exceptional facilities and Adults Only too so worth every penny. Caravanning/camping isn't a cheap holiday, it is a way of having a holiday and there are sites/parks at all different prices with all different facilities to suit everyone. If you don't want to go, you don't really need to make a comment about the price ;-)
Lovely couple own the site, askCelfyn if he has finished the house tell him a fellow decorator who stayed there last year was asking, he told me to bring my brushes lol
