I would like to go to the club site near leek.
I’m worried about the road from the M6 near Crewe .
I would be towing a caravan .
The road is hilly with traffic lights on the hills .
Any information on this route or an alternative route . From M6

Not sure which direction you're coming from or which route you're thinking of Nora, but Leek is easily reached from M6 J15 or J16, either via A50 and A520 or A500 and A53. You shouldn't have any problems towing on either.

We live close to Jcn 16 M6 and have been to the Blackshaw Moor Caravan Club site several times towing our van.

If you take the A500 to Hanley then the A53 to Leek there are a few ups and downs but no lights on hills and a straightforward tow.

Staying on the A53 it's only a little over three miles to either of the two sites - there are some long steep climbs but no traffic lights once you've left Leek.

As long as your car comfortably tows your caravan you'll have no problems.

I know the area really well if you need any other info.

We live 2 miles from junction 16 of M6 and have no problems travelling to Leek or to sites throught Leek. There is a fairly steep hill as you approach Leek but it's no problem.

There is also a smaller CS on the edge of Leek - Leek edge farm or a CL over the road - both handy for walking into town.

We nearly always use A53 to Festival Park then A500 to leave the area.
