We are about to head off up to Skelwith Fold and I read a few reviews relating to the site that mention that the Taxi's around Ambleside will often take dogs.

Has anyone got any specific company names ?

We tend to use buses if the walk really is too far but we are meeting family in Windermere on one evening and will be too late to get the bus back from Windermere to Ambleside.

Any help appreciated...cheers
