Happy to have a dog free zone and a large space set out for excersizing them further away, but they will always be allowed access to the communal areas if well behaved and cleaned up after. To be honest the only reason my other half will be letting you lot come is so that she gets to meet all your dogs. Go figure.
The vast majority of the site will be wood/charcoal fire and barbeque free with smoke and sparks being sensibly controlled where they are permitted. 30 acres is huge so I'm sure we can accomodate both the people looking for a home from home with planted front garden and those looking for a more raw experience.
Noise levels will be managed by polite request and hopefully stearing people with similar aspirations to the appropiate spot. There will be notices to let people know there might be a better location within the overall site for their activities.
Please bare in mind, the goal is peace and quiet not police state. We will set up with best intentions and adjust accordingly, hopefully learning as we go. I'm sure and hope you'll tell us when we get it wrong
You had me with your first paragraph! We sadly lost our beautiful boy Bailey in February and aren't ready for another one yet, but nothing gives me more pleasure that meeting doggie while I'm camping and seeing them and their humans having a great holiday together!
Good, clean facilities aplenty, at least 4 or 5 showers for each sex, additional dog showers would be fab! Off-lead area for dogs. Large pitches big enough for tent, shelter/day tent and car, fire pits and if not all adult only, at least a separate field. Level pitches with good drainage.
I'm trying to combine all the good bits of our favourite sites. Don't know how far you are prepared to go but one has an onsite cafe that does breakfasts and meals on a weekend, they also offer delivery service to your pitch for those with dogs, including an amazing sunday roast.
Finally a good policy on quiet times and respecting your fellow campers. Minimal noise before 8.30 and after 11.00.
