Hi All,

I am looking for recommendations for a campsite near London, round about 50-100 miles North, in order that I can get the train in for a day trip.

I would like something that's good for kids with a play park and maybe the odd attraction near by.

Any suggestions?

I don't know whether Gullivers at Milton Keynes has a caravan site?

Gullivers Campsite

There are also loads of sites within 100 miles of London with easy access to trains, I would suggest using the campsite search to put in your requirements and a list of suitable sites will be shown.

It has but I don't think its run by the C&CC anymore. There is an excellent train service from CMK. Local private hire taxi's (Skyline) are reasonably priced way if you don't want to take your car.

I would recommend Hertford C&CC site. Lovely site, and Hertford has two stations that will take you straight into London by different routes. Both take just under an hour. Hertford itself is an interesting town.

I'll be going to the site myself in a couple of weeks for a DA weekend, even though it's only 10 minutes from where I live.
