We could not get delivery slots at first, rightly reserved for those at risk. We do get one from Morrisons now but my wife goes to Aldi and Lidl for fresh stuff.
Aldi have a traffic light system to let people in. Lidl someone on the door. No problems at either.
I had to go to B&Q and Halfords, which are next to each other, both had good controls in place.
We have always kept gloves and sanitizer in the car, for fill ups as diesel is not nice!Just put some in the small petrol car too.
We just have to get used to new ways.
We will not go to crowded places certainly not going to rush to a pub!
Not something we do often anyway.
We struggled a bit with getting deliveries at first, but once they realised that we were over 70 it got easier. We were told we could have one a week, but we've been aiming for one about every 10 days, so not a problem. We used to stock up once a month at Aldi and just buy bits and pieces in between.
I'm going to have to keep some gloves and sanitiser in the car too. We don't go to pubs that often either, so we certainly won't be going to one any time soon. We probably go more when we are on holiday than any other time, and we won't be doing that yet either.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin
