Hi I am looking at caravan parks in South Devon. The last time I was stayed in that area I was 14 years old so......39 years ago lol and we stayed on a caravan park called the Grange in Paignton.
I have been looking at sites in Dawlish (Cofton, Ladys Mile and Golden Sands) Also looked at Beverley park in Paignton.
I would just like some recommendations from anyone that has stayed in any of these parks or could recommend another park in those areas. We need a swimming pool (preferably outdoor) and a few open activities for our 14 year old son, plus shop, take away, pub/bar.
Thanks in advance.

Cofton ticks all those boxes a bit pricey but we love the site and surrounding areas they used to do themed weekends but I don't suppose they will be able to now,
Louise Hi, we stayed last year at Ladys Mile as teenager choice as pool etc. or they wouldn't come with us!
It was OK while we were there, but a word of warning, pick a pitch on the top field or haldon view as the bottom field near all facilities is frequented by the travelling community, not that that bothers us, but some it may. Easy walk into Dawlish but not much there apart from usual fairground stuff. But easy access to out and about areas.

I really don’t wish to appear disparaging, but there are far, far better places to stay in Devon than those mentioned. They would be the last places I would choose tbh.
Take a look more towards the South Hams, you will not regret it.
Another local and agree with points above. Just returned from a fabulous weekend, with a teenager and a 10 year old, at High House Farm CL, East Portlemouth in the South Hams.
If an onsite swimming pool is a must, and assuming they'll reopen before you go, I'd recommend Ladram Bay near Otterton.
We do go to Lady's Mile at Dawlish as day visitors in the winter, but avoid like the plague (bad choice of words in the current climate) in peak Summer.
