Hi all, without me trailing through every listing that says fishing, does anyone know of any campsites that do fly fishing. All the ones I’ve looked through are coarse fishing. But something with a trout stream, or trout stocked lakes is preferable. Or even a site that is close to a fishery. Kept hubby very happy, whilst I read my book.

Hi Laurence. You might be better posting in the Campsites in the UK section. Knowing past fishing questions, you’ll be inundated with suggestions.
Sorry, can’t help with the answer though! Fly fishing up here tends to be for salmon & permits tend to be expensive.

Hi Fiona, thanks for your reply. I’ll try that, also working backwards I can find a fly fishing website, then try and find a campsite near. Anyway not going anywhere yet.

Without knowing where you want to travel to, Have look at:

Withern Mill Trout Farm Certificated Site, Linconshire, nice site, superb fishing.

Fron Farm Fishery has good trout lakes, mid wales.

Mains Farm Caravan And Campsite, good river to fish, Eden Valley Cumbria.

Broadstone fishery and campsite in the Forest of Dean, may even be able to fish in the river Wye near the site as well subject to permit and licence of course.
