We haven't been away in the caravan yet this year but are planning a trip in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to ask those folk who've already been, how was it? Were the rules and regs OK, not too much of a faff? How were the pubs, was it easy to get a meal? (I don't like to cook much on holiday.) Did you need to book every time?
I like to be free and easy on holiday and am a bit concerned I'll feel regimented and get nervous about doing the wrong thing. tia

Have a look at all the very recent threads about just this very topic. “What are sites like atm” for example. And in Life in General.
I can’t add anything to what’s been said already. I’d just say - just go.
We are currently on our 4th site. First 3 were CMC and this one is C&CC. All very good, well organised and clean. Lots of queuing for the toilets and showers so we mainly used our own. Local towns have been quiet with a lot of shops not reopened. We won’t go inside a pub/restaurant/cafe at the minute but have found plenty with outdoor seating.
We tend to go walking a lot so are not looking for tourist attractions etc but if you like to visit places like National Trust or English Heritage etc then many are not open. For our type of holiday where we cook a lot for ourselves and head off walking in the hills, things don’t seem much different to usual.
