Hi

does anyone know of any cheap quiet farmers fields for a short stay in a tent? our friends just got back from Harlyn Sands where they saw a sign and a phone number in a field, (they gave us very vague directions and we cant find it) pulled in and paid £5 a night and it was practically empty. Just grass and a portaloo
Cornwall /Devon area preferably with a nice veiw.

Fat Apples Cafe at Porthallow, Cornwall has a simple camping field, but it's dearer than £5.

It's one of many small campsites which walkers use around the South West coast path - a 630 mile hike. If you do an internet search for South West Coast Path Camping you will be able to pick out other simple sites.
