We have just had 10 days at Rookesbury Park CMC site, no problems. Pitches are well spaced apart.
The wristband system worked well, allowing 4 people at a time. Alternate sinks, loos and showers were locked .
We found it best to have a shower late at night around 10pm. Invariably empty.
Facilities were thoroughly cleaned with hand sanitiser dispensers around.
Masks were required in reception, which has a small shop but you can only go in the entrance part. There are marks and signs about 2m distancing.
We used our own facilities more, as there are tent campers on site, who need the facilities more than us.
Thank you to the friendly and hard working club team for keeping everything so clean and safe.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

So why did you stay ? if not happy.
As Fiona W says, we had little choice.
Our stay included a weekend. I spent a great amount of time each day trying to find alternative sites within a reasonable distance of where we were staying but was unsuccessful. The fact that we need an EHU for medical reasons compounded our situation.
As we had further booking for the following week we would have lost a substantial amount of money by returning home early, and would anyway have needed at least one stopover with once again no guarantee of finding anywhere to stay.
In the end the next site we were going to had a cancellation that allowed us to arrive a day earlier than planned and we booked into a hotel for the other night.
We don't normally either go on holiday in August or book ahead so this year has been a shock to us.
