It's a adults only CAMH CL. There is a public footpath besides the campsite that takes you to the coast, BUT, that bit of coast is mud/dunes/(part time) military testing range, so you do need to walk further along coast for a mile or so to find accessible nice (dog friendly) beach. There are a number of small carparks along the beach which you can easily drive to if you don't want to walk that far. If you walk out opposite the site across the lane, a footpath leads you to the village green where dogs are (were?) permitted. Village had a couple of pubs (one was closed for works when I was there and other was bit grotty!), fish and chip shop, and there was a Spar type store in the local garage. Most of it's walkable if you are fit, or car parking didn't seem to be an issue.
In terms of access, this is Lincolnshire! They don't believe in Dual Carriageways or Motorways! I'm joking, but a lot of it is down the grid like country roads that criss cross the vast expanses of farm land, but they are generally quite wide as big farm equipment needs to use them (at harvesting time, not all of the time!). Your journey wont be so different to mine, so likely mostly same route, the only thing that sticks in my mind was encountering a longish hill of surprising steepness for that normally flat part of the world! It was no great challenge, and no difficulty getting up it, just wasn't expecting a hill there!
I'm normally a 'mountain man' and head for Lakes and Yorkshire etc. but the tranquillity and 'big skies' of this region gave me a lovely week. There is a huge Haven type caravan site in Saltfleet which is a bit grotty and too busy in my view, but generally it's a very quiet and sparsely populated area where it's not too difficult to find a huge expanse of beach all to yourself.

Back to Leicestershire! I've stayed at Victoria Farm, High Cross, Nr Lutterworth, a couple of times when we held dog owners rallies there. We were in the lower (Rally) field. It's nearly 3 years ago since last visit, but we stopped going there because it was beginning to get a bit run down, some of the EHU's didn't work or were unreliable, the toilets/showers were in dire need of decorating and only one of the two shower pay meters took the new (at the time) pound coins, the other was still on old out of circulation coins! The year on year deterioration was noticeable in the 3 years the rally had been held there. It just felt like the place needed a bit of TLC!
Also, every man and his (s**tting everywhere and never cleared up!) dog seemed to wander in off the Fosse Way which ran past our field, using it as a dog exercise field!
The location was quite nice, the pitches generally were level and didn't need levelling ramps etc. despite field(s) being on a gentle grassed hill. The owners were always very nice and helpful. Not too many place to walk to apart from along the Fosse Way (Green Lane, so Horses, MTBs and motorbikes on occasions) or along lanes. Whilst there were a number of recognised footpaths in the area, some of the farmers had abused them with over planting of crops and no maintenance of access points like styles and hedges, making them totally inaccessible.
More recent reviews seem to give a good impression, so maybe they've spent some money and put a bit of effort into bringing it up to standard. There's a nice dog friendly (in the garden) pub with it's own Micro-Brewery (really nice beer!) and quite decent food about a mile up the road. It's walkable across the fields if you can follow an OS map, as not an obvious route!
If they have brought the standards back up, think we would consider going back there for our dog owners rally.
