We're thinking about visiting Northumberland this summer - looking for a good site for tents, with reasonable facilities for a family with kids >10. No need for entertainment etc just good showers & maybe some swings! We're equally happy with coast or hills so happy to hear from anyone who has a site they love to recommend. Thank you.

Springhill Farm near Seahouses has everything you're looking for, and good views of the sea and Bamburgh Castle from most of the tent pitches.

For stunning sea views and an easy walk to a lovely beach, look at the C&CC site at Beadnell. Be warned that it's a bit exposed if it gets windy though!
