Hi can anyone tell me if Creetown Holiday Park used to have another name? Online there looks like 3 parks in the area - Castle Cary, Creebridge and Creetown. We stayed at one years ago and can't remember which one it was. I didnt think there was 3 sites there. I have good memories but want to be sure I'm recommending the right one. Thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We have stayed at Castle Cary years ago it had a pub in the old castle up a hill looking down over the campsite and also has a small indoor swimming pool. Thought this might jog your memory. It was slightly out of town. Lots of statics and seasonal caravans and very nicely kept gardens. I think it had quite a long driveway up to it. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks. I can't remember a swimming pool. I remember a walk through some woods to the village. I think.
Castle Cary is closer to the coast and the A75. Years since we were there.
The Creetown one used to take tents - that’s when we stayed there, long ago - but is mostly statics now.
Creebridge is in Newton Stewart, Castle Cary is next to the A75 just before Creetown, Creetown holiday park is actually in the village. There is a wood behind Castle Cary that you could've walked through, it's not far from the site to the village? Have a look on Street View and see if you recognise any bits?

I think it was Castle Cary. Your description rings a bell, not far from main road and walk to village through woods. Thank you.
