Looking for a site for Whit week next year, any suggestions please based on following:

Adult only preferred but would consider others
Quiet, not bothered about clubhouses or anything
Clean, modern facilities
Must be dog friendly
Don't mind coast or country

Finchale Abbey is a lovely location but they don’t take tents. I can recommend South Meadows at Belford. Lovely site with lovely clean facilities and dog walk. Just off the A1 and close to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island and also close enough for a drive into the borders, Kelso etc. It isn’t adult only but it has loads of open space for kids to play and it is well run

I love walking round Finchale and I am disappointed that it doesnt take tents. I should’ve gone there when I had a caravan but didnt! 😊
