hi all, returning to caravaning after a couple of years break, anyhow weve booked to go to trewethett farm caravan club site, there seems to be differing opinions aas to wether you should bother taking an awning due to the exposed location of the site, any recommendations
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hello,
We were there in June and were blessed with good weather. It is exposed if you pitch near the cliff edge but we were on pitch 99 at the back, still got the fabulous views, and we had no trouble with the awning.
Some friends have just come back and when the really bad stormy weather was expected the Coastguards went up and advised tents to leave and awnings to come down. Wise advice as it happens. I'm sure the wardens will be aware of the weather patterns and will advise accordingly.
Hope you have a great holiday enjoying a snifter watching the sun go down over the sea.Bliss.Not that I'm jealous or anything!
